Gemma and Sean were married at and had their reception at the Park Hotel Netherton.Gemma left for the service from a room at the hotel and we were able to take some photographs in the room of Gemma and her family before the service.The service went really smoothly with Paula the Registrar from Sefton conducting the service. It was quite cold outside for the photographs but we managed to take them on the small lawn area outside the entrance of the hotel.

Carol & Liam were married at St. George's Church Maghull and had their reception at the West Tower Country House Hotel Aughton, Ormskirk.It was the Deacon's( Reverend Steve's) first wedding ceremony and it went very well,(he was very relieved.)He was filling in for Father Kelly who was on holiday.The family photographs were taken inside the church, because of the weather and we were able to get some really nice photographs at the West Tower outside, on the staircase and in the bridal suite.There was a slight hitch at the hotel when one of the couple's pumpkin table displays was set on fire and set the smoke alarm off, but this was quickly sorted out by the staff at the hotel and everything was fine after this.

Emma & Kevin were married at Sefton Parish Church and had their reception at the Tree tops Hotel in Formby.The Reverend Liz, who carried out the service at the church,was absolutely superb,she also christened little Alfie during the service for the couple.The heavens opened as Emma arrived at the church and we all thought" this is a good start" but fortunately it was only intermittent rain and we were able to work around it for the photographs.We went with the couple to Lydiate Abbey, on the way to the hotel, and got some really stunning photographs there for them. The bulk of the family photographs were taken at the Tree Tops(inside as it turned out because of the rain.)The couple are having a short honeymoon in Venice.

Lisa & Lee were married at St. Albert's Church Stockbridge Village, Liverpool and had their reception at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa.There were about 100 daytime guests at the church to see Lisa's mum give her away.Lee had 10 ushers and Lisa had 3 bridesmaids and one flower girl.Most of the photographs were taken at the golf course, the family groups on the main veranda adjoining the room,and the bridal group on the lovely little grass and tree area opposite the main entrance.The weather stayed OK, although it was a bit windy on the veranda and the ladys had to keep tight hold of their hats.

The hotel is a superb venue for wedding photography.We were able to take a full group from the upstairs River Room shooting out on to the lawn.Lee's best man Kevin and Gary were a great help getting the guests assembled for the photograph.We posed the couple with one of Barrington's cars in front of the building for, I think, a really memorable photograph.The couple are having a short honeymoon in London.

Church Woolton and had their reception at the Palm House Sefton Park Liverpool.We were expecting the worst, weather wise, from the early morning rain and storm clouds, but as so often happens, as the service ended the sun came out brilliantly and the photographs were able to be taken outside the church on the lawn.The reception at the Palm House was excellent and the remaining photographs were taken outside there. We were able to do a full group shot on the steps outside and the confetti shot was taken outside the gates with the Palm house in the background. The couple are honeymooning in Canada and the USA.

At the hotel there is a lovely veranda area upstairs with some commanding views over the city, which we took advantage of with the photographs.

Susi & Greg were married at Wrightington Hotel & Country Club.The weather stayed nice and bright with no rain, but it was pretty windy and some of the photographs had to be done inside the hotel.The service went really well, after which we were able to get a complete full group shot of all of the guests, in the foyer, shooting down from the upper landing.Also, the hotel were very obliging in allowing the guests to throw confetti from the upper floor onto the couple and we were able to get our shots of this also.The couple are honeymooning in the Canadian Rockies.

After some thunder and lightening over night we were a bit concerned about the weather, but everything turned out fine.Most of the photographs were done inside the church,with the kind permission of Reverend Helen, who conducted the service.When we arrived at the Crowne Plaza we were able to photograph around the hotel and the Pier Head, and in the gardens of St. Nick's Church, with the backdrop of the Liver Buildings.The couple are honeymooning in Dubai and the Maldives.

Rachel and Alex decided that they would like a pre-wedding photography shoot prior to their forthcoming wedding in April this year, and what a great idea this turned out to be. They wanted to make sure that they were going to be comfortable on the day being posed for the photographs etc. and saw this as a little practice run.We decided that the best place to do it was at the hotel where they are having their wedding reception, the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool.Originally we where going to do it in October last year but we had to postpone it.The weather was a little on the cold side, but as you can see from the photographs we got some lovely shots.It is going to be a real pleasure for me to photograph their wedding in April, and I am really looking forward to it.You can view all of their photographs here.

Sam and Ian were married at St. James' Bootle and held their reception at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Club Liverpool.The snowy weather had changed to rain, on the day of the wedding, which was good really as the area around the church was safe for the guests to walk on. We had already organised with Father Gerry, who had kindly agreed for us to take all of the photographs inside the church. The church itself is a magnificent building over 120 years old and is absolutely beautiful inside, so the backgrounds for the photography couldn't have been better.We moved on to Our Lady's and met up with Chris, wedding organiser now at the club, who we previously knew from the Suites Hotel Knowsley. The room for the reception had been laid out beautifully.

Lisa & Erwan were married at Thornton Hall Hotel Wirral.Erwan's family were all over from France for the wedding.The service was read out in both English and French, although with several guests, as well as Erwan, being fluent in both languages, there wasn't really any problems with communications.The service was carried out in the Torrington Suite and the weather was a bit showery but we were able to get outside into the grounds for most of the photographs.

The hotel was very busy with guests,I am not sure whether the unveiling of the John Lennon statue in town had anything to do with it.Everything ran smoothly, and the hotel people were very helpful.The wedding car from Barringtons was able to wait outside for some photographs after the service, even though on double yellow lines, which was great. This is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. The actual palm house, as it was, is set out to conduct the wedding, but if the weather is fine , as it was, the couple have the option to be married in the outside bandstand with their guests sat behind them.The weather was superb and the ceremony was carried out outside. The rose bed area of the park, together with the buildings and restored bridges make this a wedding photographers dream.At night everywhere is lit up giving even more photo opportunities.

We managed to get the photographs taken on the more sheltered front side of the castle and in an area near the front.The people at the castle were kind enough to let me get up onto the turret of the castle to take the entire group photograph from up there, not an area for anybody who suffers from vertigo.

Christine and Will were married at Thornton Hall Hotel Wirral.The weather was beautiful and the ceremony took place in the gazebo at the rear of the hotel.This is a wonderful setting for wedding photography, and it was further enhanced by the field of cattle adjacent to the gazebo which made the setting even more idyllic.We were able also to get a full group shot, of all of the guests, from the balcony of the hotel which was great.Christine and Will's theme and colour for the wedding was Liverpool Football Club red as they are both staunch red supporters.(as am I) The couple are honeymooning in the Maldives.

Claire and David were married at St. Andrew's Church in Maghull, Merseyside,( my local ) and went onto Formby Hall Golf Club for their reception.The church service went without a hitch. Rain was forecast but we were fortunate and it stayed fine. St. Andrew's is a lovely church to photograph at, the Clergy and the Verger and his wife are always very helpful. The grounds are excellent for the photographs and the local W.I.lay on tea and refreshments for the guests whilst they are having their photographs taken.There are also some benches if any of the older guests want to sit down.We finished the session with some great confetti shots just outside the lychgate on the footpath before making our way to Formby Hall Golf.At the golf course the driver from Birkdale Classic Wedding Cars was really helpful and we managed to get the car parked just under the "Formby Hall Golf Club " Sign, with the guests on the veranda above for the photograph.

Laura & Colin's wedding was held at Our Lady of the Assumption's R.C. Church Belle Vale and their reception at The Liner Hotel Liverpool.It was a very cold day, and there was a mass almost straight after the service at the church, so almost all of the photographs had to be taken inside the hotel. The bridal party photographs, including Kenny, who was best man, and Laura's nine bridesmaids, were taken in the Penthouse Suite at the hotel, which, after some judicious re-arranging of the furniture, was ideal for the purpose.

Kate and Nick's Wedding was at St. Marie on the Sands Church Southport, and their reception was at Knowsley Hall.The weather was cold but dry and more importantly snow less. They drove themselves between the church and Knowsley Hall in a fantastic red E Type Jaguar. Most of the photographs had to be done inside because of the lack of light.The speeches were excellent with Kate's dad, Brian, demonstrating his famous rope trick and Nick's brother, Peter, who was best man, orchestrating the 12 tables of guests into performing " The Twelve Days of Christmas." Kate and Nick started off the dancing, to the live band, which went on late into the night.

Donna & Michael's wedding was held at Emanuelle Church, Fazakerley and their reception was at the Knowsley Suites Hotel.Reverand Michael, at the church, was really helpful, and everything went really well on the day.We decided to go to St.Chad's Gardens on the way to the hotel, for the photographs.This was beautiful. and the weather was really good also.

This is 12 pages of Andrea & Brians Graphi Studio Album from their wedding earlier on in the year, which I have just completed.They chose a silver polish metal cover and had the album in a matching leather brief case. I designed the album from their selection of photographs from the wedding, and they were able to see a proof of their pages before they were printed.

What a fantastic day this turned out to be . After all of the worry about scaffolding ,boarding and work going on at St. Nicolas' Church Whiston ,all of these problems seemed to vanish as people had a great day. The weather turned out fine, and we were able to completely miss out the parts of the church with the scaffolding on for the photographs.My thanks went out to the vicar at the church who was very helpful . We used the altar for shots during the service which showed what a beautiful church this really is Many thanks also to Raymond Paul, my friend who was the videographer. We actually used the red side wall of the church as a backgrounds to create some stunning and unusual images of Claire and Peter.Everybody, on both sides of the families and Claire and Peters' friends were in fine form, and all contributed to me getting a truly memorable record of their day for them.The evening celebrations showed that Whiston people really know how to party.

Louise & Michaels wedding was at All Saints' Church Childwall and the Crowne Plaza Liverpool John Lennon Airport Hotel.After a week of dreadful weather it was a great relief to have such a lovely day on the Saturday.We travelled from the Church to Reynolds Park for some special pictures only to find that there was a summer fete on at the park.It didn't matter though, as we found enough space for us to get our photographs.The couple went on to honeymoon in Mexico.

Helen and Stephen's wedding was at St. Davids Childwall and the reception was at The Haydock Thistle Hotel Haydock.The weather was typically British , rain one minute sunshine the next.We actually managed a call at Greenbank Park and the walled garden on our way up to Haydock, as this was a favourite area for both Helen & Stephen and it is truly beautiful. The Gods were with us as the rain actually held off long enough to get some really nice photographs of them.The Hotel staff were very helpful and allowed me access to one of the guest rooms to get the photograph of all of the guests in front of the marque.There were some hilarious moments during the speeches as can be seen from one of the photographs.

Laura & Kieran were married at St. Gregory's R.C. Church in Lydiate and had their wedding reception at the Knowsley Suites Hotel. Father Smith carried out the service at the church and allowed the photographs during the service to be taken from the choir loft, a great vantage point for photography.The main family group photographs were taken on the grass area outside the church and the bridal group photographs at St. Chad's Gardens on the way to the hotel.
